Your student’s college journey is an exciting milestone, and we are here to help you navigate this transition together. Here’s how you can best support them:
Encourage Independence
Help your student take ownership of their academic and personal responsibilities.
Stay Informed
Familiarize yourself with key dates, deadlines, and university policies.
Be a Resource
Guide your student in seeking academic and personal support when needed.
Maintain Open Communication
Check in regularly while giving them the space to grow and thrive.
To ensure a smooth transition, your student must complete the following:

This grants access to virtual orientation modules, the Housing Intent Form, and academic advising.
Complete Virtual Orientation
Orientation is hosted on COMEVO and must be completed before course registration. (Sign-in instructions will be available soon!)
Meet with an Academic Advisor
Your student will be guided in selecting their courses.
Secure Housing (if applicable)
Submit the Housing Intent Form early.
