Secure your place at Jackson State University today! To officially confirm your enrollment and reserve your spot for orientation, all incoming students are required to pay a $300 non-refundable enrollment fee. This fee provides access to an engaging orientation experience, including both virtual and in-person sessions, along with exciting activities designed to prepare you for success. Don’t wait—take the first step toward your future now!
To update your payment method, go to the Bill Payment Suite, click on “My Profile” and select “Payment Profile.” From there, you can add a new payment method, and once it’s added, you can delete the old one.
Priority Enrollment Fee Deadline:
Submit your enrollment fee by May 30th, 2025 to meet the priority deadline. Don’t miss this important step to join the JSU family!

Log in to the Future Tiger portal using your credentials.
Submit the $300 enrollment fee through the payment portal. Select either the full payment or installment option.
Complete the housing intent form in the Future Tiger portal after paying the enrollment fee if planning to stay on-campus.
Receive confirmation of your housing assignment once processed.
While we encourage students to submit their enrollment fee by the priority deadline to secure their spot at JSU, you can still submit your fee after this date.
No, new incoming students are not required to pay a housing deposit. This means you can secure your housing without any additional fees! However, the enrollment fee must be paid before a room can be secured.
To verify if your payment was received, go to the Bill Payment Suite, select “View Activity,” and click on “Fall 2025” to see your payment history.

The In person New Student Orientation (NSO) fee is $150.00.
It covers all expenses for the orientation program. You will receive meals, a registration swag packet and a JSU T-Shirt. It is required that all students complete the new student orientation program. NSO fees are non-refundable.
